Dr. Malak El-Sherif is a board-certified family medicine physician committed to the comprehensive health of her patients. She was inspired to enter the field due to her joy of creating personalized relationships with each of her patients and supporting them physically, emotionally, and mentally over the years. Dr. El-Sherif’s integrative approach to medicine combines conventional and complementary therapies to treat the whole person with the aim of achieving optimal wellness at any age.

Dr. El-Sherif earned her medical degree from Kansas City University in Joplin, Mo. She completed her family medicine residency in the Methodist Health System in Dallas. She also completed an integrative medicine certification with the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson.

Wendy Fasano earned her undergraduate degree in exercise science with honors before pursuing her advanced degree in physician assistant studies. She is clinically trained in a broad range of disciplines, including diabetes care, family medicine, pediatrics and women’s health. Wendy is a certified physician assistant and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

In addition to being a certified family nurse practitioner, Latonja Shaw is experienced as a registered nurse and respiratory therapist. She began her medical career in 2007 working for a health system in Little Rock, Arkansas. Shaw’s areas of special interest include heart health, pulmonary disorders and family medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Board-certified family medicine physician Linus Miller, D.O., has served the health care needs of the Mesquite community since 1971. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Miller has served as a former chief of staff and chairman of the Department of Family Practice for Mesquite Community Hospital. He also was a past district president for the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
