Texas Health Family Care

Jonathan Flores has served the primary care needs of North Texans as a board-certified physician assistant since 2011. He previously served as the sole primary care provider in a family practice in the Argyle community. Jonathan’s focus is on providing quality preventative medicine services to promote wellness and delay the onset of chronic conditions. He places a priority on getting to know the families he cares for and ensuring they are proactive in their health journeys.

Jonathan earned his bachelor’s degree in biology while at San Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Jonathan is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He speaks fluent Spanish.

Kelly Gonzales initially thought business and finance would be her calling after she earned her BBA in finance while studying at The University of Texas at Austin. She later realized she could better serve others in a health care capacity. She returned to the classroom and earned her physician assistant certification in 2000. Kelly then spent nearly 20 years with a family, internal and sports medicine clinic in the Colleyville, Texas area before taking on a special project for Texas Health Resources. In 2022, she became involved in the launch of an innovative virtual care platform for the THR system in addition to providing patient care.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Her areas of focus include providing comprehensive primary and sports care medicine.

Latha Thomas is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She began her medical career in 2008 working as a registered nurse in the Arlington area. Her areas of special focus include disease management, medical surgical support and family medicine.

Gena Jacinto is a board-certified family nurse practitioner committed to the health and wellness of North Texans. She has worked in the health care field since 1998 and brings extensive hands-on nursing experience to Texas Health Family Care, including work in intensive care and cardiac care settings.

Practicing in the state of Texas since 1998, Dr. Francisco Chacon is board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Chacon has been recognized for excellence in heart and stroke care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and for providing a Medical Home environment that promotes quality in care coordination and communication.
